Frye Rand Lace Boot

Thread Starter

Hello everyone

I just have a style question- would you consider Frye Rand Lace-up Boots as one that can go with a suit and/or a casual pant with a tie and a blazer? Here is an image of the boots that I stole from Amazon-

700

Thanks in advance

Those are very nice, but I wouldn't wear them w/ a coat and tie. The leather, last (toe shape), lacing, toe spring, and sole are too casual imo. I'm having a pair made by Alfred Sargent that I plan to wear in the winter with sport coat and tie:

I wouldn't wear these with a suit though, well, except maybe for a very casual corduroy or tweed one. A worsted suit would need a balmoral boot imo. I might not even wear these with a blue blazer. For that, I'd also wear balmoral boots, like the AS Miller.
