One of the boring ones :)

That's pretty bad. I didn't think the first one was that bad.

Boring would be an upgrade from that.
Few people can do better than a classic look done very well. Seems you just want to be flashy by being different.
Not working.
Hideous is not better than 'boring' or classic.
I can't wait to see if third time's a charm.

I can understand you saying this about the second one, but what exactly is so bad about the first one?

First was not completely offensive though I do not care for it.
But the trend is not your friend.

Hi All: I was hoping to get your opinion on the fit of this suit (jacket). Thanks!

Please ignore the rest of my attire. Just a quick try on. Sleeves of course have to be shortened. Thanks again!

I'm bothered with the huge lapels and the padding on the jacket, and as you've mentioned the long sleeves.

Perhaps "boring" was not the right term. The second shoe is an Anthony Cleverly Churchill. I thought it was actually quite nice. The waist bevel is beautiful. I didn't think the shoe was flashy at all unless non "classic" equates with flashy. Then again; apparently i wouldn't know "classic" if it hit me in the face. If it is some of the revered brands on SF, many are quite "flashy" by comparison. So i guess we have come full circle. The point i was trying to make, albeit inarticulately, was that the second shoe at least to me, is more classic and less versatile than the TF. Of course this is all moot if both belong in the dumpster ;)

On a side note, anybody familiar with TF Base F? What sets it apart from the other models?

Mine is Base F. Super tight in the waist. One beer or brezel too much and it would crease.

The arms and shoulders are horrible. Chest to big, pulling at the waist, shoulders look to off on you, just a bad fit overall, imo.
For the $ you can do way better.
Have you tried Brioni?
