Can't do it. I've been going undershirtless for about a year, and i recently discovered it's not working as far as avoiding yellow stains. I've not been using aluminum-based deodorants or anti-perspirants, and yet the yellow stains appeared... I saved the shirts in question with oxyclean, but I need to purchase some heather grey v-necks. I don't suppose you'd be willing to make an exception?

These late nights will be the death of me. Had another moment of weakness and almost bought some shoes. I resisted. My goal is the end of November; I get there and we'll see about Christmas.

I am quietly going mad......since purchasing a nice Zegna down-filled coat last month, I really want a nice pair (or three) of boots. After 2 years of fidelity, it is starting to catch up with me. Still holding strong over here.

First battle with temptation - received a Sam Hober pocket square I purchased last month and it's so nice I want to order 5 more. Also, wore my toque for the first time today and decided I don't like it anymore. Help.

Just make it to the end of November, then try and go from there. If you do break, don't break because of pocket squares!

MoL,

 

I may have sinned. I purchased a Hober tie which is technically not for me and is a gift...but the main reason I purchased it is so that I would have a basis for future custom ties. The specifications I'm giving are those that I'd want...I doubt the recipient will notice the difference between it and any other tie.

 

Have I violated the spirit of the no purchase club? Am I out?

We are all a miserable lot. Alright, I will ammend this........and only this one time.

Camp 1
For the original members, please continue your challenge as per the original dates, that being:
Start Date: Tuesday November 06, 2012
End Date: Sunday December 16, 2012 11:59:59 pm (your time)

Camp 2
For the lamers who messed up and need to reboot, or for any latecomers, you will agree to these dates:

Start Date: Tuesday November 13, 2012
End Date: Sunday December 25, 2012 11:59:59 pm (your time)

You agree to spend nothing on yourself. You may do your Christmas shopping for others as that is not a part of this challenge.

Now......whatever you choose, please verify and ring in.
Any original member who is starting over, please ring in as such.
