We are talking about how good this movie gonna be and me, Harvey and Ataturk aren't overly optimistic. We gave pretty good explanation why there's a small chance this movie gonna be good. I am not whining yet. I think we will whine when movie comes out and it will turn out we were right. I prefer to be wrong though.

Again, Marvel Studios is owned by Disney and doing just fine. They are doing exactly what Disney wants them to do. Make films based on their own properties that appeal to a broad audience at the box office and generate a ton of revenue via merchandising. I'm giving Disney a benefit of a doubt that they will allow Lucasfilm to do the same.

Those movies were made to appeal to everyone, children and adults alike. They mostly succeeded in those titles.

I do not expect the new Star Wars films to be amazing, but I do expect them to be somewhat entertaining. The Prequels were complete **** and not enjoyable to watch as a result.

Tron 2 was all good fun in the same way seeing in Evil Dead movie was as a mid-late teen. It's just good fun.

I don't like Brave because it's something a young boy could watch and find no hero's. Every man in that movie was portrayed as an absolute idiot.

I just hope that the Disney SW movies are made with good Sci-Fi in mind, with characters that can relate to audiences of all ages, and they wont crack down on expanded universe stuff or impose that classic Disney copywrite infringement on absolutely everything.

When you get that old and have been as mega-bucks successful as he, you're entitled to be the crotchety old guy.

So when you were a child, teenager, or full grown adult, you never held something in your hands pretending it was a light saber, or put a salad bowel on your head and pretend it was a helmet when you were alone at home or in the office? I've checked those two things off my list in the past month or so. It just goes to prove why Star Wars has such a wide appeal.

I can safely say I've never put a salad bowl on my head ever.

Hamill, Ford, and Fisher spotted in London, conveniently, just as EpVII starts filming.

Official cast announcement:

http://starwars.com/news/star-wars-episode-7-cast-announced.html

The Star Wars team is thrilled to announce the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII.

Actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow will join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker in the new film.

Director J.J. Abrams says, "We are so excited to finally share the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII. It is both thrilling and surreal to watch the beloved original cast and these brilliant new performers come together to bring this world to life, once again. We start shooting in a couple of weeks, and everyone is doing their best to make the fans proud."

Star Wars: Episode VII is being directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Abrams. Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Bryan Burk are producing, and John Williams returns as the composer. The movie opens worldwide on December 18, 2015.
