They're going to introduce voodoo in the new movie.

Doll could have been from a young child playing with a "military" doll in the fictional Star Wars universe? That's the only thing I could think of. It could work if done right.

New trailer for Rogue One was shown at Star Wars Celebration and will likely hit online soon.

Details and a behind the scene reel here. There are a few trailers spoilers too. http://www.theverge.com/2016/7/15/12199414/star-wars-celebration-rogue-one-behind-the-scenes-footage

They also released a new movie poster.

Quite an accomplishment to make Star Wars that boring and generic.

Ew, that's an ugly poster. Lame composition. Looks like a stock photo of a beach with some Star Wars stuff pasted on. Could've put a bit more effort into it, considering the Star Wars tradition of poster artwork. Hope the trailer is more exciting!

You guys - yes, it's a bad poster. But it's not as bad as it could be for all of the reasons you set forth.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's a special poster for Celebration. They did that for Episode 7 too.

Video clip is up. Some pretty cool creature/character designs at 1:40 and forward.

How many Bothans died to bring us this?

I see a lot of asian influences.

So much for the saga's tradition of realism.

^ I ran into Mads Mikkelsen a couple of months ago and had a brief chat with him. Among other things, I asked if he could tell me anything about his character in Rogue One, and while he said it was a secret, he also let some interesting info slip. Since he also said 'But now that I've told you, I'm gonna have to kill you', I should probably refrain from going into further details ;-) Of course, until seeing the film I've no way of knowing whether it was totally true or not, but judging from the info he gives in that clip, it definitely seems like it.

The actual verity of the info aside (which I guess isn't all that important anyway), I just found it exciting to get a chance to have a one-on-one with Mads about movies in general, and specifically about his experiences with being involved in something as big as Star Wars, vs the much smaller productions in Denmark...
