Those are amazing. I used to have a large collection too. Found out my mother gave away a large portion of them to church for a garage sale they were having to raise funds. Didn't even ask me how I felt about it and assumed I wouldn't care.

Star Wars: A New Hope turned into one long scrollable schematic. Impressive amount of work went into this.

My mom gave some of my old toys away to some distant cousin who was poor without asking me. I found out when I went to a family event and the little shit was there playing with my old toys. I wanted to kick his teeth in and didn't talk to my mom for the rest of the day.

I think the first mistake is leaving that stuff behind when you move out and assuming that people will still consider it "your" stuff.

I think the second mistake was being angry about someone giving toys to underprivileged children.

How surprising that this of all threads would be the one where poasters' mommy issues start spilling forth.

At the time I didn't care too much, but over time nostalgia made me wish I could have had an opportunity to keep some of it.

Are you morally outraged?

That some douche would want to kick in a child's teeth for playing with toys? No, mostly just disgusted.

Dude. I can't believe I'm about to defend Reggs of all people but here goes.
I'm assuming a fair amount of hyperbole in that statement. And Regg did not mention how old he was, sounds like maybe he was still fairly young. Finally, while his cousin might technically have been under privileged, he was still family and the weird rules of inter family competition apply. Its not like they were feeding the starving masses in Africa or something.

I'd be pissed too if my mom gave away some beloved childhood object without running it by me.

Diego Luna is playing Captain Cassian Andor, who is described as "a by-the-book Rebel intelligence officer, brought in to steady the volatile Erso." Many assumed Donnie Yen's character was a Jedi, but as it turns out Chirrut Imwe is more of a warrior monk who is "devoted to their ways." Jiang Wen plays Chirrut's devoted friend and protector Baze Malbus, and Riz Ahmed is the squad's hot-headed lead pilot, Bodhi Rook. The final team member is Alan Tudylk's tough-as-nails droid character, K-2SO, who is described as “the antithesis of C-3PO.”

As we already knew, Mads Mikkelsen is Jyn's estranged father, Galen Erso, who is in possession of "doomsday knowledge that is sought by both the Empire and the Rebellion." The villain of the piece is Director Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn), who is determined to enter the Emperor's good graces while avoiding the wrath of Darth Vader.

Finally, we have the mysterious character that'll be played by Forest Whitaker. EW describes him as someone "Star Wars completists will recognize immediately when they see his name, even if he looks very different than the way they've seen him elsewhere."
