I think Rey/Daisy is very attractive in the "drag yourself out of bed to catch a glimpse of her in your 8 AM lecture class" kind of way. Which is good enough for me.

Also, this:

To prove my earlier point, I am willing to wrestle her.

This is what I'm getting at.

She's rather thin though. Also good for her DLing 225, assuming those aren't crossfit style fake plates. Very fit girl.

That's not 225. Plates are too small to be 45 lb rubber plates but still impressive for a girl of her size.

Also, this:

She has terrible boxing and kickboxing form - chin straight up in the air, no head movement on the entry, and she drops her hands after a punch, all things that need to be corrected in anyone who gets into the gym the first time, but I don't suppose that they were actually training her to fight.

Reserving judgment until I see her box

Is she not lifting kilo plates being that she's from the UK and all?

It's interesting that CREED isn't getting the same backlash that TFA is for using the same themes and basic story arc of the first movie in the series. The only reason I can think of is CREED while a a commercial success didn't enjoy the same hype and blockbuster power that the latest Star Wars film has. The more successful a mass marketed media product is the more internet neckbeard cynicism it enjoys. I.e. people feel "cool" being contrarian to popular things.

I hope this isn't me when I finally do see it tomorrow.

I didn't really like Creed.

While others feel cool defending popular things.

You are right. Because TFA didn't have a twenty minute prologue attached showing Chewbaca changing Ben's diapers and teaching him to ride a bike we can't assume it was hard for him to shoot the guy. The whole point of the comic was to drill down the emotional resonance of the scene and counter anyone questioning why he didn't shoot Ben in the head.
