I'm good with the choice. He's been very public of his love for the original trilogy over the years. No way he's not going all in here and give it everything he's got to make these films work. Just a little uncomfortable with the idea that he may not be in charge of the rebooted Star Trek franchise anymore. In fact it feels like something of a betrayal. Always been a bigger Star Wars then Star Trek fan, but enjoyed the work he did on the Trek reboot. Perhaps he will remain on as an executive producer or something.
