Had my mind blown by Boris again last night. Saw flood and some other drone-y stuff. One of my favorite live bands ever. Don't miss them if you ever have the chance.

instead of listening to new Daft Punk, listen to a fun cover of old Daft Punk

new daft punk decidedly not as good as one would have hoped.

a friend of mine insists jungle is going through something of a revival. I have no idea.

Feeling the new wave of disco-dance nowadays. This is a highly recommended listen, I think you guys might like this:

Some stuff i've been listening to lately...

The Swirlies - Sarah Sitting // got sunny over the past few days so i've been driving while listening to this a lot. My fave Swirlies track.  Something about sunshine and early 90s fuzzy pop...

Tamao Koike – Automne Dans Un Miroir // Tamao Koike is my fave YMO-associate 80's Japanese pop artist. Really gentle and peaceful with a weird cool francophilia vibe... wanna lie on my bed eating grapes or whatever.

From the Escape From New York Soundtrack /// Still think this was totally ahead of its time.  One of the best film soundtracks.

The Vidablue - my heart goes out to me // these guys went on to call themselves Ten Grand. Late 90s emo similar to Yaphet Kotto etc.

Jungle has been back in focus for awhile now. The faster juke/footwork seems to blend well with jungle sensibilities. Anyway here's a bit of what I've been listening to

Machinedrum keeps putting out bangers
I don't think any of the other early Warp artists have managed to stay on top of their game as well as Autechre
Been revisiting Actress' hazyville. He's got such a beautiful take on techno

Actress is probably top 3 in terms of best electronic artists today. All three of his albums are classic
