on that note, here's some feel-good music for really skinny white guys

on that note, here's some not-feel-good music for people that don't want to feel good and also it's from an album written for a guy's dog who died of cancer while they were on tour so there's always that.

really like that piece. reminiscent of Arvo Part, who is a favorite of mine. a few years back I saw a piece of his performed at St. John the Divine up by Columbia. it was a great venue for it.

For fans of kavinsky check out FM attack and miami nights 1984.

Specifically memorex by FM attack is brilliant.

That Fugazi video is one of my favourites.  Also, yes yes yes to Part. Very hard to pick a favourite.... Berliner Messe (especially the last 3 or 4 movements) and Tabula Rasa are probably the first that come to mind.

I saw A Silver Mt Zion a few years back. Incredible show, even better than the Godspeed show I went to. Efrim was much nicer and personable at the Zion show, telling jokes and stories and stuff, whereas Godspeed felt like a fucking parody of itself, like trying real hard to uphold that image people have created for them

SMH @ Joey Bada$$ refusing to go on the Under the Influence tour if he's billed below Trinidad Jame$ on the damn poster. Really, he should be grateful for the opportunity and understand the economics of concert tours. Also, every other rapper using a "$" instead of an "S" is lame as fuck.

Rappers are so fucking lame nowadays it's no wonder the genre is in a nosedive.

Rap is lame nowadays? It's taking a nosedive? Wtf are you listening to?

I'm seeing Total Control for the first time this weekend, and they've just added another member too. Can't wait!
