I really like some of their shoes (made by Grenson?)....but the pricepoint gives em a lot of competition for my $$$
I've always liked the PStuart catalog, but I'm reserving buying anything until my twilight years once i've got at least 8 toes in the grave

I noticed that most of the ones that are $678+ say "Bench Made" and/or "Hand burnished" while those in the lower price range have these absent from the product description. Perhaps that might be the $200 difference.

The last seems conspicuously different than the Grenson offerings. I wonder who is making these, and where.
I hope this doesn't bode poorly for the PS/Grenson relationship. I really like those shoes.

Yeah, Doc, my thoughts exactly. That monk looks very, very nice. It doesn't look as if this is a sale price, but rather that it's the regular price. I suppose that means it's not up to Grenson MP standards, but still, very nice. It would be good to get to the bottom of this....
