I've reported the spammers over the last few days, and included in my report the simple advice to moderate x number of posts for new users e.g. the first 10, before new users are allowed to post unmoderated.
Excellent idea. Should avoid some of the silly questions that are repeatedly asked.

Doesn't SF/Huddler, Inc have paid professional moderators? I always thought it did, along with the editorial staff. If any spam arrives outside of US office hours, it probably wouldn't get deleted until the morning.
