Avoiding that iPhone outline in your jeans - Page 2

I don't think it looks too horrible unless it turns out incredibly extreme -- like the guys on sufu who intentionally keep chew/zippo/wallet in the same pockets for deep fades.

Anyway, I tend to alternate pockets where I keep my keys/phone/wallet so the fading has been fairly uniform in that region.

All my jeans have it. Sometimes I even carry two iPhones, and I've had other phones in the same
Jeans since they're 5 years old - key is to start the lap fades without your phone because the phone will prevent one side from creasing properly.
After the fading starts you can go back to putting
In your pocket.

isn't the whole fucking point of raw denim to have the fades reflect your lifestyle and what you put in your pockets? what did you think was going to happen?

i thought about this while reading this thread...

it's almost like a history book. jeans with iphone fades represent a different era than jeans with nokia fades... or just wallet fades. or whatever. it's actually interesting, in a way.

It's not raw denim.  It's a pair of Levis 514s.

It's not a piece of art "reflecting my lifestyle," it's an article of clothing, and I would prefer it didn't look like corned-shit.  My lifestyle reflects my lifestyle.  Or should I get full sleeve tattoos, quit my job and live in a fair trade coffee shop, writing a coming of age novel?

Thank you for the only constructive comment :)  This is a good idea.  Now just gotta buy a couple more pairs and break them in without anything in the pockets.  Maybe I'll go dig a ditch in the back yard....
