Avoiding that iPhone outline in your jeans

The iPhone 4/4s and the 5 have very harsh edges.  Even the cases that typically go around them are pretty sharp.

 

Has anybody found a way (or a case with rounded edges) that avoids creating a wear pattern in the exact size and dimensions of an iPhone?  I know some of you are going for that look, but this honestly looks like shit.

yep.  it's this new type of case.  it's called the man purse case.

He's got a point - the only way to avoid it is to not carry an iPhone in your jeans. My wallet has soft edges, yet has created a pretty distinct fade, so rounded edges aren't going to solve the problem. My old APCs have a funny little Samsung flip phone fade - you can even see the antenna. My PBJs have a severe iPhone fade in the same spot, because that's where I carry my phone, and a wallet fade in my back pocket.

Is it too absurd to ask if there is a way to re-dye these ridiculous looking fades?  Color match sharpies?

Why on earth would anyone want to avoid this? First of all, fade lines look cool, and second people will know that you rock an iPhone. You gotta own that shit son.
