Rain Coat - Types

So, what are all the rain coat types? Which do you like best?

You have the Trench, which is double breasted, belt, epaulets, raglan sleeves.

You have the Balmacaan, which is single breasted, beltless, raglan sleeves.

You have the Generic Rain Coat, which is single breasted, beltless, regular sleeves.

Yuo have the Mackintosh, which is generally the same as the generic rain coat, just with rubberized cotton fabric.

Is that it? And what do you think about variations of the above jackets? i.e. would the Generic Rain Coat look good with a belt? Or are belts really best suited for the Trench only?

And what do you guys like the best? I suppose Trench will come in at the top, but some might prefer SB.

I really liked the Grenfell the Armoury had:

- from a quick look at their site it looks like they don't carry them any more.

I also like the Dunoon from Mackintosh.

And for something less dressy but very cool, these handmade classic raincoats from Sweden:
