Every side shot. That's not how a coat should balance. It should be a straight line down the back, or close to it. OP has "erect" posture, so he needs more room in the waist and chest. I learned this through trial and error myself.

Yes, IMO, it's too short, but it's not so short that it's unwearable.

Not sure where you get the straight line thing from. In fact, I prefer mine to follow my back curve if possible. If he has any vent issues at all, it's really negligible.

I think it's okay; I've seen much worse. It's not my cut but it's also not my sport coat...
