I'm surprised we're three pages in and still no sign of Stu... I'm somewhat of mixed opinion when it comes to the delivery confirmation system. In theory it tells you not when you're going to receive your item or the status of its transit but simply affirms that it was delivered which generally sucks rocks if the package in question is several weeks delayed and presumably in limbo. Or worse, as was my case in January, the package was said to have been delivered and signed for...and yet NO package was ever delivered to me on that date. How does one prove they never received a package when there's proof online?

For some reason, things from Canada require an unneccesary amount of time to arrive. Some of the European postage companies have been efficent such as Royal British Mail and German Post.

That's because they used UPS mail innovations, which uses UPS to ship up to the destination state / county and then hands it off to the USPS to deliver it the rest of the way. Ergo, one can deduce two things: 1) The USPS is so useless that they need UPS or FedEx to ship their packages in a timely manner. 2) UPS / FedEx for the most part do their part without problems, and the system breaks down when the package is handed to USPS.

umm maybe for you. but my tracking for usps is working fine. they even processed it on a sunday   and it only took a weekend from friday night at 7:02pm to monday at 10:30am at my PO box #

1st class mail only took friday saturday and sunday to get here on monday mourning woohoo way to go 1st class mail. oh and i ordered on a monday and received it once on a wenesday before aswell without even tracking it

No one hates the US Postal Service more than our family based on my dad's personal experience with them years ago, but I am not sure what everyone is talking about. This is a standard tracking I get on Delivery Confirmation items, and this has not been delivered yet:

It looks pretty detailed to me? Maybe the seller is not providing the actual services, that include real tracking, that they claim? The above item is Priority Mail with FREE Delivery Confirmation and Insurance.

That said, by all means please trash the USPS because they deserve it for many other reasons.

Oooooooh I live for the smell of my post office, it's like if your on a tall mountain like Rocky is there, but he knocked out the Russian, and oh the sweet sweet kisses of the women form your living room. You watch your tv, go online and boom your having fun. Sometimes dinner is free or you eat frogs, who cares if your having fun. You know? If your having fun, who cares!!
