OL constellation is on yoox for cheap but Mikey is right about it looking like a bunch of dandruff

It's possible other people won't have the same problem, but the OL constellation blazer fit me kinda weird. There was gaping at the neck and chest but pulling at the buttons. I think others have mentioned the sleeves fitting hella slim, but I didn't have a problem with that (insert self-effacing comment about skinny arms).

I have a three-button OL blazer that fits just fine, though.

I've never found an OL blazer that fit me right after going through maybe 10 of them, wish Barney's still stocked so I could just go in a try each seasons fit

yea thats what keeps me from buying the constellation blazer i'm always afraid especially at night it's going to look like your wearing a jacket with a lot of dandruff on it.

they should have made it look like a bigger stars in the sky

Just make sure your head's shaved when you wear it. Solved

The one I posted is Dries...I looked at the OL one on yoox and it seems to be similar but more wrinkled and less structured. The Dries is still too much money at the moment. fwiw I tried the Dries on at Jack Straw and it didn't look like dandruff, maybe the same holds true for the OL once you see it in real life.

Close up:

i like this a lot.  where did you pick it up?  i'd ideally prefer not to pay full retail from the w+h website....

^ I remember seeing one at bloomingdales actually 40% off and then another 20% off at the register.  Might check that out if you're around one.  It was nice, but pretty cropped and slim.

I have the constellation and experience the neck gap and tight sleeve fit issues (not so bad to keep me from wearing it). It doesn't look like dandruff though.

I rarely see double breasteds here?

I love them personally, but yeah.. unless executed by some rockstar tailor it will look quite boxy and 1980s. I like Simon Crompton (permanentstyle)'s sensibilities for DB, and reading his blog inevitably leads to the cutter Davide Taub and my personal favorite, Edward Sexton.

I'm thinking of having a suit with such silhouette.. long-ish body and all

I try to get away from jeans now since all I want to wear with it is tees. For my street style I try to wear blazers more and less jeans opting for cotton pants

good to see this thread revived...davide taub looks great, he often wears structured savile row tailoring in a casual context. ( this may have been posted here before, it's from permanent style):

Thread Starter

like his style more and more... Waris Ahluwalia. mixing casual footwear with more traditional suits. maybe less "streetwear" but not really biz-classic either.
