Alright, I returned the weird button stance Theory blazerand picked up this Shipley and Halmos blazer for the spring/ summer. What do you guys think keep or take back? Have it tailor slimmer at all? What to wear it with? Does it look weird with the tan jeans? Possibly pair with slim navy trowsers and a white shirt, top button buttoned?

Tassels are awesome. And so is this sportcoat, btw:

Imo, because most look absolutely ridiculous wearing them, thanks to GQ and similar magazines
That said they can look really nice, but well it's just very rare

GQ gets blamed for too much.

Tassels are pretty ugly IMO remind me of of fringe on western style boots, it's just unnecessary IMO when I see them they make me think old man style. And I don't mean being older with style you can still wear older/vintage prints and still make them look classic and refined.

They give off a stodgy old-man vibe, but more so they just seem like a fussy and extraneous detail, like kilties.

Hey guys, been reading this place a bunch and decided to join to ask a question. What is your opinion of this:

Like a lot of things, there are good and bad tassles. I am fond of the Two-Tone, Ivy Look variety esp. if you've got the rest of the kit to match (60s style, peg pants, etc). I'm not so much a fan of the fancy #menswear kind or the horrible CEO-at-the-country-club short vamp girlie loafer. That said...with enough swag sauce, someone like Tirallieur can pull off just about any footwear he chooses.

Just picked up a black linen Yohji deconstructed blazer and wondering if anyone can throw some outfit pics real quick. Just wondering what else I could wear it with besides black pants.

^ how about white, gray or striped pants. something with a lot of volume or maybe cropped.
