I guess manton's theory was right that threads will devolve into waywt spinoffs coupled with swd default where2kop ... sorry mr parker, was a valiant effort :/

You guys are definitely right, need baggier pants w that DD blazer. I do have a shirt that I think would work great with it, and I have some baggy-ish Coming Soon black cargo pants on the way right now so I may be able to make it work out. The pants I was wearing in the pic do look strange with it, too slim...

Holy shit, first b!cd pic without dat trademark Scott Summers stare. No after image = maximum viewer comfort.

Let me try again, these are the only baggy pants I have and they need to be tailored If I'm going to keep them. Not sure about the pants.... but I do think baggier pants and shirt are better.

I also picked up a Silent long jacket when it came up on MyHabit. It is also returnable...

Pretty comfy outfit, actually...  biggrin.gif

Dorje that color combination is absolutely atrocious.

The overcoat looks fantastic and is the best item I've seen of yours and it goes so great with that blazer that it's tempting to tell you to keep the blazer just for that. But unfortunately the blazer on its own, while not terrible, isn't as attractive on you as the other one you just posted. I'd keep that one and return the DD.

We're good, homies. Shopping reco's and koppage questions are definitely okay. Keep peppering this place with inspiration photos, though. :-)

Dorje, besides the too-normal styling, the thing about that jacket is that the lower fronts ("quarters") overlap in a bad way when it's buttoned. You might try wearing it open. But, really I think it's just a little too small for that slouchy Damir look -- which I like a lot btw. Fabrics should also be harmonious/monochrome to me.

@Caveat, I know... just imagine the pants are black, lol.

@Parker, OK the DD blazer is getting returned. I definitely see what you're saying, I can find something better. smile.gif

SIki Im is nice, but it's a much sleeker look than Fabio Quaranta. I personally like Fabio Quaranta more. Reminds me of Tom Waits.

It's the Devoa destroyed silk lapel-less blazer from F/W 2011
