Great posts, spacepope. I'm waiting for the perfect PH blazer to pop up for me somewhere on the secondary market...

I just placed an order for this A1923 selvedge jacket

Nice buy chiggah. I'm saving up for a LUC farmer's jacket, which I guess is similar. A1923 has always had a cleaner PH vibe to me which is cool. The price is less cool.

Ah shit it's Mr. A1923 himself

Good alternative to random Yoox brands, both fit me 1 size large. I only picked up the linen cotton. Realized today that the right sleeve sort has creasing down the arm, subtly but visible up close, which I tried steaming out to no avail. Just going to let it be and beat it up for work during the summer. It's going to wrinkle a whole lot more.

The Dry Easy jacket was really good especially since it is a cotton / poly mix. Easily EG copy for cheaper. Collar looks great up, more so than the linen-cotton mix. Dark gray looked the best.

Sorry to clutter w/ a fit question on these: Almost always a 40 or 40L (50 in Euro). Tall and slim. Go w/ M or L? Dry Easy or the Stretch Cotton look like a good travel piece for me for a couple upcoming spring trips.

Thanks!

pardon the ignorance, but who is referred to as EG?

Dudes who have picked up Mauro Grifoni blazers from Yoox, let me know if they have finished buttonholes or not. It's one of my pet peeves with a lot of labels lately. Grifoni makes great stuff btw, and fits perfectly in this thread.
