Down Comforter recommendations

I am pretty sure I have the Primaloft version of this:

Seems nice and is generously sized. I sub in a lighter comforter (not sure if down or primaloft) in the summer when I try to avoid turning the AC on.


Don't know if you specifically want down...primaloft is good stuff but looks like there is no price differance between the two right now.

Get St. Geneve Eiderdown Down comforter, you won't regret it.

Do you have any experience with this stuff? Two pillows and a duvet work out to something like $11k for my bed. I'm a believer in splurging on where you sleep, but seriously, am I missing something? I get that it's very rare, but it's also a full order of magnitude more expensive than a high quality goose down comforter.

Everyone in our family has alpaca duvets. Really like them. They seem to regulate temperature better than down. Very comfortable across a very broad temperature range.

Is there a brand where the filling doesn't bunch up on the end?

look for small boxes (whether baffle-stitched or not)

I have one like that. Doesn't seem to help.
