Online source for good weight exercises? - Page 2

Check out www.t-nation.com. Almost too much information, and a lot of it is aimed more at the body builder or serious strength athlete, but there's more current research and good advice about weight training there than anywhere else I've found.

http://www.abcbodybuilding.com

They have animated/powerpoint slides of an incredible amount of exercises - all with descriptions as to what muscles they hit. They are ordered according to the main muscle group they hit.

Hope that helps!

I just find it easier to get good form. I also know how to use more machines than I know free weight back exercises.

Also, with regards to your suggestion for the three-day workout, will I do any better/worse to do something like upper/lower back one day, chest/abs another, and shoulders/legs on a third, doing between two and three exercises for each group on that one day, or even stretch it out to four days when doing this? I find that even if it takes me an extra day of lifting I am out quicker, which is good because lifitin isn't something I enjoy, I just know I need to do it to look good/be healthy.

My recommendation would be to complete a designed workout program created by professionals. I have had huge success and gains on HGM (Home Grown Muscle) on MensHealth. This 10 month program will help you get fit, trim, bulk, or cut (it really all depends on your eating). The program will also teach you different exercises to help with your goals.

p.s. - cardio is not an excuse to not do leg workouts. You NEED to do squats/deadlifts etc. These exercises will not make you "bulky", only well proportioned and strong.
