Comfortable Mens Dress Shoes?

I do a lot of miles in my shoes. In fact, I walk an hour and a half in total each day in them! It is kind of odd wearing a suit with Asics as I see people do, instead I wear these which some may consider a complete abomination. Admittedly they are pretty ugly. I love being able to feel the ground with a really thin sole though and they are ridiculously comfortable. It's like walking to work in slippers!

I guess smart moccasins might be just as comfortable and look a lot better. If you guys care about comfortable shoes, what do you recommend for a noob that has an emphasis on comfort but doesn't look like monkey vomit? Unfortunately, based in London, I can't try Allen Edmunds to my knowledge and won't buy them without trying on a pair first. My current dress shoes largely go unworn because they are so uncomfortable!

Those are very ugly.

ECCO shoes might be an option, although 1) they aren't more than marginally acceptable where dress shoes are required 2) if regular dress shoes are that uncomfortable, maybe there is foot problem (including unusual measurements).

I have a pair of ECCO that are quite comfortable, nothing compared to my ugly abominations, but certainly easy on the eye and can clock some milage. I think it's more a case of being spoilt by wearing Vans or Terra Planas pretty much most of the time rather than a foot problem! I could probably get used to dressier shoes :)

I could stretch up to about £300, but if I could half that for something decent (I don't mind thrifting or buying second hand) that'd be pretty great.

Shoes that fit are comfortable. They don't have to be built like sneakers.

Try some Crockett and Jonest at that price. I'm wearing some today and they are perfectly comfortable.

I think AEs are quite uncomfortable - the cheap interlinings they use do not flex well.
