While at the EG Trunk Show in Beverly Hills last weekend I took note of the suede shoes that they were offering which were rather nice. But these are light years ahead of what I saw I only wish suede wasn't so hard to take care of.

Canted heels were common on mens shoes in the teens and twenties. I personally like the look and wish it was more common than it is today. I don't think it is effeminate only different and would not have given it a thought except that you mentioned it.

Way to go, Manton. Now my AE captoes are crying. I'll have to stay up all night making sure they don't hang themselves from their shoe trees.

Your pictures, I'm sure, have answered any lingering questions about whether bespoke shoes can be recognized on sight.

You can adjust the exposure to compensate for the darker background, or you can take the shots when there's natural light, it'll look better than using flash.
