I dunno. Based on some measurements I've seen for other items, Size 4 seems typically closer to a 50. Will just defer to Brad.

For the sizing, this is a padded garment. It's not meant to be skin tight. I think the sizing is correct for this piece.

BT- sizing seems confusing - what size would you recommend for the MA for a 40" chest - im thinking i could be a 4.

your guess is right. attachment is generally tts, but slim. follow chiggah's size guide. if you're somewhere in the middle, it's better to size up.

Finally got correct measurements on an Attachment coat from H Lorenzo - size 3 measured 20" across chest - im thinking a 3 in the MA might be good - i prefer a fitted look with jackets.
