In the spirit of the recent knit tie thread, I thought I'd start this one.
I'd like to pick up some inexpensive ties for the fall/winter. I've recently gotten a couple of tweed sportcoats (grey/white herringbone, brown/green donegal), and I would like to get a couple of inexpensive ties to complement them. I currently wear my nice grenadine ties with them because the grenadines are more muted and have a nice texture. I'd like to add wool or cashmere to my recently acquired tie rack.
Ebay, The Knottery, Tiebar, etc. Any other suggestions? I'd like to keep the budget reasonable, maybe $30 per tie, but I would prefer less and am interested in secondhand. I don't mind shelling out for a nice Drakes silk or J. Press grenadine, but I don't want to spend the big bucks on seasonal ties just yet.
