The Wide Fitting Shoe Trading Post (EEE / G width) - Page 6

Howdy folks,

I am thinking of parting with my Alden AF43s in 10.5 E (Truebalance last).  They are black on a commando sole.

Here is the link to the site where I got them from:

http://www.alden-of-carmel.com/Shoes-Black_Shell_Cordovan_High_Lace_Boot_123.htm

Based on my latest measurements, 10EEE or 10.5EE will probably fit me better. I'd consider a trade or sell them for around $550.   As with all of my items, these shoes are in a very good condition.

Hit me up if you're interested.

These two pairs run wide for D's.

But I've decided to put in a commission for some bespoke shoes in a particular style.

Brand new in box pair of Alden unlined plain toe tan suede bluchers, in 8.5eee. Barrie last - good for a 9eee. Just a little small on me and i can't return as it was an international order... Anyway - i'd be willing to accept $400 shipped anywhere for these. Cost me over £400GBP including shipping and fees! *sigh*...

Cross post from the C&J thread, for the wide footed folk smile.gif

From the CJ sale, UK store promptly responded to my email. In my 10.5G UK size, they had the following:

Finsbury Black £241.67
Dartmouth Black £250
Draycott Black £241.67
Merton Black £241.67

I was told VAT was already taken out on those prices. I wish I was tempted, just reached my black shoe quota, but hope someone can use this info.

Does anyone here have mismatched feet - 8.5 on left, 9.5 on right (both E width)? I left, but could proxy a pair of Chili Bradleys that had been resoled by AE and not walked in since the job. I wouldn't want to try to flip them, but willing to proxy at cost + shipping + beer. More pics if anyone is actually interested.

Guys - killer deal on these Loake Chukkas I'm selling over in B&S - cleaning things out and they gotta go:

Looking for some wide boots - prefer something with a cap toe, but I'll listen to any offers. Sizing would be 12.5UK or 13-13.5US.

Must be willing to ship to Canada. Thanks!

C&J finally retired the venerable 317 last. The Draycott was the last one to have it. (The Bedford and Canterbury used to have it too)

The Draycott is not a 341 last shoe, but still comes in a G fitting

Here's a side by side of the 317 last Draycott (left) vs 341 last (right). The 341 is sleeker, and less curvy in the little toe area
