I wear EEE in Aldens (Trubalance boots I can do EE). I bought some Blundstone Chelsea boots in my Alden size, and I find the width is okay. My problem is my high instep (see the above comments in this thread), which makes them painful after a little while of wearing. I'm hoping I can keep stretching the instep. They're good Seattle winter boots, so I'm hoping I can make them work.
The half-size on most Blundstone models is the wider width, like an E width. This was confirmed by Blundstone support.

I know not in the same price range, but RM Williams has an excellent range and available in H to X widths (E to 3E widths).
Maybe I'll try to stop by somewhere that sells them and actually try some on. I'm a 10.5E, so I'm not sure exactly where that would place me. Thanks

Hello gents. This is only barely a trading post question, more of a wide foot recommendation question.

I want to get a pair of relatively casual ankle boots, and had settled on trying out a pair of Blundstones, until I discovered that they don't do widths. If you want wide, they suggest that you just go up a size. Can anyone suggest a good alternative that does cater to wide widths? I'd like to stay in a similar price range, but am not absolutely committed to a Chelsea boot. I don't want a leather sole, because I'd like to be able to use these in at least somewhat wintery weather. Where should I look?

it is a big price jump, but worth it in my opinion to go H width RM Williams Lachlan or Gardeners.
Edit: I’m a 10.5EEE on the Branock and a 9.5H to 10H in RMW (dress socks versus hiking socks).

I’ll investigate the RM Williams. Tried on Blundstones at REIthe other day, and that’s not going to work. Especially once I switched to a real footbed it was way too snug.

Dayton service boots in VG condition - very light wear last year when I used to go to the office. More pics on request. Color is a deep cordovan. Just got a sudden urge to order a new pair of Whites in the BF sale and testing the waters on these. Marked 9.5 EEE, fits a true 10EEE. Paid $500 last year, sell $350 including shipping CONUS.

If anyone here is a size 10H or 10EEE and looking for a pair of handwelted, Walnut museum calf captoe derby shoes, please PM me. I had a pair made for myself on a standard last by Shanghai-bases shoemaker Oct. Tenth, but would like to place a re-order with some small changes to the last.

I can make a phenomenal price on these.

Hey folks - new to SF and very pleased to find this thread. I'm a 10 EEE, and finding wider fit shoes that are properly constructed in Australia is tough. Is there a new thread elsewhere on the forum, or has this just gone quiet for a while?

This thread is quiet. If you have a brand in mind, try looking for it on SF.

Hello, fellow men with duck feet. I wear 8.5 - 9 EEE and like the rest of you, have trouble finding fine footwear. Allen Edmonds has served me well and I have my eye on some Chelsea boots from Thursday Boot Co. They recommend I wear 9 Wide in their sizing algorithm. Can anyone give any input on the fit of these boots?

Please supply measurements. I wear 9 UK which is almost a 10
I also wear h width. However I have low insteps which means on some
shoes the laces are too close ( and Loose). My three eyelet derbies fit perfectly
so I can compare measurements
