Yes I think if layering is important that the medium may work out better… the small would be if you only wear it over lighter button-up shirting, etc. The  medium will also give you more room if you're planning on washing/rinsing; It would probably shrink just enough for it to feel right if you still have doubts.

The last two pictures make it look a little large to me, not sure if the small would be better. I probably have between 4 and 6 "spare" inches in the chest.

Thanks for your help in advance.

@Apolis Thanks for the heads up, I thought they were not supposed to be washed?

Are there any plans to restock the indigo cpo jacket? Also, if that is the case how soon might that be?

If you want the Indigo color to fade slowly it should be washed as little as possible, just like selvedge denim, but ultimately it's up to the wearer to decide how much washing they would like do, and some choose to not wash at all.

Right now we don't have a plan to restock these, but we are working on a melton wool version for late fall. You can call some of our other retailers to see if they have it; Our Sales Director said that Lost and Found may have some in stock.

How do the indigo wool trousers fit? Are they TTS, or should I size down one size?
I LOVE my indigo pocket tee. @Apolis, do the Standard Issue crew necks fit the same? How about the Indigo Henley?

Also wondering, how thick are the alpaca crew neck sweaters? Been looking for a good sweater for a while, but I live in a relatively warmer environment, so it can't be too warm.

Is the fabric on indigo wool trouser same as the one from CPO shirt? Just placed an order, went TTS since I couldn't find any other info on them.

I actually was down there today and tried these on: I have a 34.5" waist with 25"+ thighs, and the 32's were pretty spot on for me (sans length); about as slim as I could go before they were tight. I don't know if that helps a ton but I was asking for 33 and the 32 fit well.

Chore coat fabric = indigo wool trouser fabric = indigo CPO fabric = indigo vest fabric

Definitely more of a tapered look but generous enough in the leg to still be bearable if you have big legs.
