Next week we're releasing some new Indigo Knits alongside a few new accessories:

I received the Standard Issue Chinos recently and I was a little disappointed. I got them on sale for around $80 and would likely still return if I were within the 14 day return period (had to have them shipped to parents house and couldnt pick them up in time).

The legs are a little wide and the rise is a little low. They are shinier than they appear in the ad (the Khaki) which isnt what I was going for.
They reminded me of the athletic looking khakis you see athletic staffs wearing during games, paired with a Nike golf shirt or something.

I know they are supposed to be lightweight but the material isnt as sturdy as I was hoping. They dont stay cuffed well. I'll probably have them hemmed.

IMO-an OK buy at half price, but at the $150 regular price there are much better options.

as someone who lives in a warmer climate I appreciate the lighter weight, and they hold well through washes in my experience. If I had one quibble it would be that they could be slightly more tapered below the knee

Just wore mine for the first time today.

Walking around for an hour or so at -6C was no problem, though it was sunny with light winds.

Rise is fine, though I don't tuck my shirts in as often as some.

They're truly comfortable and I hope they hold up alright.

They are ego-sized though; I'm a solid 33 and the 32s after washing are an easy fit.

I'm a 30 in pretty much all brands (29 in most raw denim) and I sized up to 31 on these because of the waist so YMMV

In retrospect, I may have been a little hard on them because I was expecting something different. I think it is the wider leg opening that turned me off most initially. I would like a bit more rise out of them, but it's not bad. I like some extra insurance against anything showing that shouldn't be seen is all. It is more of a functional item rather than a fashionable item, but I'll get good use out of them through the Spring and Summer.

FWIW--I'm a 31 in most brands (32 in true non-vanity sized items) and the 31 waist is fine.

If you still do want to return them, we can make an exception: Just email returns@apolisglobal.com and mention Style Forum.

How would the wool chore jacket fair in Socal weather where it'll usually be mid 80s for half the year? I really like the character the indigo dye adds but I'm just not sure of the practicality of it. In comparison I really enjoy wearing the Pointer Chore Jacket and want something similar in warmth to that or less would be even better.
