Hi all,

I'm going to be in San Francisco this week and would like to visit some thrift stores. Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Try Jeremy's on 2nd Street near AT&T park. Not a Thrift store but prices almost as low as one for high end clothing and shoes. Some goods are store returns, some are slightly damaged.

Thanks. I'll be in SF later in November and will be watching this thread for recommendations. Good question, OP, and leave some for me.

Sui Generis. Consignment rather than thrift, but very high quality and run by a couple of great guys.

I'd agree Sui Generis Consignment rocks! Great Designer names at great prices. Both of the stores are in the Castro Neighborhood, just a few feet from one another.

Sadly, Jeremey's has declined dramatically in the past few years.
They carry much less tailored clothing, many fewer fine shirts, eg
T&A, Borrelli. Most of the stuff is "streetwear and denim"
