I don't know anything about Ireland's side but I'm guessing the bottom of their order isn't the strongest, particularly against class bowling. Hoping for a win but certainly not expecting one now. EDIT YET AGAIN: HAPPY ST PATRICKS DAY

because he knows nothing about cricket, and when you said, "Pakistan 132 all out? Happy St Patrick's Day," he thought that was a bad thing.

I know there are not many cricket fans on here but today we have witnessed 2 gargantuan shocks.Bangladesh beating India is monumental.Ireland beating Pakistan is a beyond words but the fact that Pakistan are now out is unthinkable.

Presumably Conn is a little more interested now.

I'm looking forward to work on Monday. I work with a whole bunch of cricket-mad Indians, and a Nederlander. Sadly there is also an Oirishman, but hopefully he won't have a clue about cricket (he's a hurling man).

That's assuming we win tonight, of course.

And no, I was not sighing because I know nothing about cricket and I thought Ireland was losing. I sighed because I did not think they'd ever send a top team home so early. A monumental win for the Irish. A nailbiter if there ever was one! Did anyone catch both tricolours and Red Hand of Ulster flags being flown at the same time in the crowd? A very rare sight. EDIT: Can they take Zimbabwe?

They drew Zimbabwe in the first match. Windies are next up and no, I don't think they can beat them.

If you've ever watched Celtic League or international rugby you'd see the tricolor and the Red Hand next to each other frequently.

I wonder if Joyce is regretting jumping ship to play for England.

I've watched Six Nations before and haven't ever seen that. Of course, I'm usually drunk during the matches, so...
