No nicknames at any professional job I've ever had.

In my non-professional, manual labor jobs, nicknames were many and colorful.

I've been called "grasshopper" (because I was the new guy) and "slim" (because I used to be slim.)

Others on my crew were called "hardcore" (because he was a seriously hardcore, diligent worker) "asshole" (because he was an asshole) and "fatfuck" (because he was a fat fuck.) People without nicknames were generally just referred to by their last names.

I forgot - one guy from IT calls me "hoss". I have a feeling he calls everyone hoss though. will monitor closely
