DC barber or salon

Can anyone recommend a DC barber? I've noted the threads on stylists and salons, but the couple mentioned seemed a bit more than I wanted to pay (50 or more).

I keep my hair really short these days so don't need much in the way of a fancy salon. Though at the same time I would prefer to not be in some sort of guy's barbershop where the talk is sports and politics, so would probably prefer a decent salon.

I go to Demian on 18th Street in Adams Morgan. Men's haircuts are $40 by the namesake and another female stylist, $35 by everyone else. I usually tip $10. I get my hair cut every three weeks now, so the days of $50+ haircuts are over.

A lot of pictures on the wall... seems like a lot of politicians and lobbyists go there!
