I wear them every weekday, 7-9 hours a day. Sometimes I wear them on weekends. These (http://www.clarks.co.uk/p/20351174) are the shoes if that makes any difference (the black ones). I also spend a good deal of those 7-9 hours outside, under London humidity and rain. If not for Dubbin they would have been cracked and garbage by now.
I read on multiple other sites and on Style Forum that I should polish shoes every time I wear them. I tried that once and they started looking... over-polished, if you know what I mean, so I decided to polish them every 2-3 days instead. No matter what I do one shoe always comes out with a more rough-looking texture and less mirror-like shine.
If you look on the photos on the website - that's what my right shoe looks like. My left shoe, on the other hand, (the one that was on display, I believe) looks just a teeny bit worse. It's pretty hard to tell the difference unless you look close, and considering winter is starting and it will always be dark and rainy no one will ever notice, but it's just bothering me knowing that my shoes are hiding an imperfection that could show its ugly face anytime the sun comes out...
Sorry for the OCD.
