Watched 'Paul Carrack: The Man with the Golden Voice' last night on BBC4 which reinforced my thoughts on how amazing this guy is; unassuming, modest, supremely talented - every musician's musician!

Not a great singer by normal standards, but Paul Banks (Interpol) has such a wonderful voice. "You could be in my spaaaace!"

Emmylou Harris. I don't generally get into female singers, but her voice is absolutely perfect to me. I don't know if this is the best example, but it's an awesome song performed by an awesome artist, so I used it.
