It seems the number of "Made in the U.S.A." businesses has increased recently (especially from the apparel industry) and we are introduced to them thanks to blogs like Fuck Yeah Made in USA.
However, I am curious how many of those businesses actually integrate manufacturing, branding, and distribution by themselves--in other words, bypass the middleman and straight to customers.
I am compiling the list of companies based in the Southeast (because that's where I live) that manufacture their own products and sell them by themselves, primarily through e-commerce of their own websites. For this reason, I disregarded the companies like Raleigh Denim which makes great products but still distribute them through brick and mortar shops like Barneys.
I was able to come up with the following short list through sources like Garden and Gun, but would like to add some more. I'm open for any businesses and it doesn't have to be a clothing company. Any suggestion gentlemen?
