Generally when wearing V neck sweaters with an undershirt, it pretty much should always be white or a very light colour. Does the same apply to dress shirts? Other plain colours would work fine, but what about patterned shirts, such as puppytooth?
Also looking for recommendations on where to buy some V necks. The fit from CT and Gap smalls was good but the quality isn't as nice as an RLPL I tried -- a slim cut medium which fit very well, but I hate stitched logos on clothing.
The House of Fraser Linea seemed a really nice quality but hung like a sack off me. Was thinking of checking out Uniqlo as well as I'm guessing it will at least live up to CT/Gap standards (extra fine merino) while being bargain basement priced. I would be interested in some high quality options though.
