Yet another Suit Assessment

Thread Starter

Hey all. Long-time lurker,  Vanity/physical requirements necessitated a custom suit and here is my first. Have had 3 fittings thus far (is bespoke, not MTM) since July  and I am looking to get some feedback for any final alterations/suggestions. Suit feels nice but a tad snug under arms. I noticed in the rear there is some bunching up in the upper arms. There also appears to be some pinching at the top button. Pants feel good and look good. I am not wearing shoes in the pics.

Hoping to get this all done by Nov for a wedding. Your help is appreciated. If better pics are needed, let me know.

See below for corrected image embedding.

You'll get way more responses if you embed your pics instead of making them files to download. Click on the 'image' icon between the film strip and the paperclip.

Looks good overall. However, the main (albeit minor) things I notice are shoulder dimples and a slightly tight chest. Also, you seem to have somewhat of an erect posture, which is causing the backside of your suit to look a bit rumpled.

Exactly, I can't be bothered to click and wait for the downloads to finish.

There's a bit of dimpling at the shoulders, for me it does look a bit snug but the suit looks good.

Sorry about that. Was trying to avoid the problem of a giant over-sized post with pics in it & I thought the attach option would embed collapsed images, not literal attachments. Take 2:

Chest I know what to ask for to correct but what can be done for the shoulder dimpling?

Looks generally reasonable.

You really should have posted a photograph which show the break over the shoes to properly judge the trousers although they do not look too bad. Whilst I appreciate why you have only one back pocket two would look more balanced.

The worst feature and it looks very cheap and nasty is having only two widely spaced buttons to the cuffs of the jacket. Four really is a must.

Yeah, a pretty apparent dimple on the left sleeve. But more worryingly, somehow the left shoulder looks slightly roped, while the right one doesn't. Could be the photograph, but I've had a bad tailor unwittingly do that to a coat of mine once, so it can happen.
