Help Me Choose My Wedding Shirt & Tie Combo - Pics Included

I'm having a hard time deciding between these combinations of tie and shirt.  I have three different shirts and ties, trying to get the best collar choice with tie pattern / color.

A bit of background, it's a morning wedding, outdoors, in Los Angeles, so please don't focus on the suit and shoe combo - we are not doing a traditional wedding, it's a casual garden wedding and we wanted to go with a less conservative style.  That choice is made.  Also, I have cut my hair and will have it styled, beard trimmed and shave, etc.  This was literally just a few shots to get color and collar combos (fun to say), so also ignore the lack of polish, slop tie knots, lack of knot, etc.  Just spitballing here, it was hot and I was tired of rotating esp with the waistcoat.  I didn't want to tie knots over and over.

Now, on to the pics.  I have three different collar choices ranging from somewhat spread to somewhat pointed.  I'm sort of leaning towards the one in the middle despite it being the cheapest quality of the three shirts. It's pictured the most.

Medium collar / Tie #1

Medium collar / Tie #2:

  Medium collar / Tie #3:

  Spread collar / Tie #4:

Pointed collar / Tie #1:

Medium collar / Tie #1:

Spread collar / Tie #2:

So, please give your feedback - which collar and which tie should I got with?  I will note that ties #3 and #4 are the highest quality, and also the widest at 3.5" while the others are 2.5".

Thanks much

I like the second tie (the grayish one) the best. I don't like the spread collar. The medium collar looks fine. Most important thing for you now is to size down on the tie knots. The third and fourth ones, in particular, look ghastly. Also, always make sure that the tie knot doesn't slip down. Looks really bad in such a formal ensemble. All the best with the wedding, btw!

Ditto.

I like the 2nd photo with "Tie #2 / Medium Collar" the best as the tie gives your outfit some contrast. Digging the 3 piece suit, who made that?

Tie number 2 is definitely best. I prefer the spread collar over the medium collar but of those two either is fine.

Tie number 2 for the win. I'm with unbelragazzo in preferring the spread but you would not be doing yourself wrong by choosing the medium collar either. Ties 1 and 4 are kind of washed out.

What about the fit of the spread collar shirt, take a look at the last picture, and make it big, does the collar look a bit too loose?  I can fit all four fingers between the collar and my neck and it's not pulling it tight.  It's weird because it's a 14.5 and my other 14.5's fit quite snug.

spread collar 2 - it balances the look of the collar/tie/vest.

All the best with the wedding!

I think you will look great with that suit and most shirt/tie combinations will look good too, but I vote for picture number 2.

"...so please don't focus on the suit and shoe combo..."

Well, it's hard not to. I understand it's a less formal outdoor wedding in the morning but those light brown shoes will draw all attention to your feet. Unless you go for darker brown or burgundy shoes, the shirt/tie combinations will be irrelevant.

IMHO, what should draw attention at a wedding is:

1) The Bride
2) nothing
3) nothing
4) nothing
5) your suit/shirt/tie
6) nothing
7) nothing
8) nothing
9) nothing
10) your feet

Medium collar with Tie 1 is good for me!

I like the spread, but if the medium collar reaches your lapel, you're good. Another vote for tie #2, but IMHO this type of knot can make a nice tie look like a clip-on rental (especially in a wedding setting).

+1 (def. not a fan of light blue tie on light blue shirt)

I'm surprised by all the liking for the spread collar. I think the spread collar -- especially when combined with the oversized windsor knot -- looks disproportionate in relation to the skimpy lapels.
