For Sale:
(Two Sizes Added!!!) MEGATHREAD █ NWT Corneliani and Ballantyne of Scotland (Cucinelli-killer?) Wool Sweaters
Will Ship To: Anywhere
Up for sale are a bunch of mega staple wool and cotton Corneliani and Ballantyne sweaters. All new-with-tags. All made in Italy.
Most people here know Corneliani as a brand. Excellent quality stuff.
Ballantyne is a heritage brand that produced Pierce Brosnan's sweater in Die Another Day. They are sold for ridiculous retail prices at stores like Neiman Marcus and Saks. I think that the ones i have for sale might have been made by Cucinelli (see picture comparison at the very bottom). They are certainly of equivalent quality. The geelong wool on these is incredibly thick and has an amazing soft hand.

Corneliani Cottons: $99 shipped CONUS
Corneliani Wools: $125 shipped CONUS
Ballantyne Wools: $150 shipped CONUS
New with tags Ballantyne sweaters go for insane amounts on eBay, even the cotton ones: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BALLANTYNE-V-NECK-COTTON-SWEATER-ITALY-SZ-52-L-/261097086061?pt=US_CSA_MC_Sweaters&hash=item3cca995c6d
I will ship to the rest of the world at cost. Please add $12 for shipping to the rest of the world (countries that are not the US or Canada).
PayPal or Postal Money order only. I cannot accept personal payments in PayPal. As is implied with all SF classified listings, the sale is final. Sold as is.
First one to pay gets the item.
I will only grant "holds" for those who pay via PayPal eCheck.
1). Corneliani gray vneck - 100% wool (dressy finish)

2). Corneliani navy crewneck - 100% wool (dressy finish)

3). Trend Corneliani navy crewneck - 100% cotton (dressy finish)

4). Ballantyne of Scotland navy cableknit crew neck - 100% extrafine geelong wool (SUPER thick material)

5). Ballantyne of Scotland gray cableknit v-neck - 100% extrafine geelong wool (SUPER thick material)

I think that the Ballantynes were made by Brunello Cucinelli for Ballantyne. The reason I say this is because they were made in Italy, and have this tag.

Look familiar? Cucinelli is the only garment maker that I know that affixes tags with the words "Mr" and "Date" and followed by blank lines. The picture below is from a Cucinelli vest (see link here).
Cucinelli also used to make sweaters for Michael Bastian

Regardless, the quality is incredible on the sweaters. (THICK geelong wool with an amazing soft hand) I'd put easily them on par with Cucinelli. You will not be disappointed!
