Your favorite Favourbrook single-breasted waistcoat

I have fallen in love or to an obsession with waistcoats, and would appreciate evaluations and experiences in regard to Favourbrook.

Thanks very much, Cantabrigian, for your thoughts. Not being near London, I unfortunately can't walk by the shop and only see those Favourbrooke waistcoats online. By the way, I didn't want to shy away posters by announcing my own preference of single-breasted and without collar. It is true that if i click on a particular model for more information, I discover it is also advertised in the wedding category, but that doesn't disturb me. Your question if those aren't formal shows me that I don't have sufficient exposure to the tradition to know the breadth of this distinction. Hannah on the phone responded to my question if she had seen any waistcoats at the neighbor store New & Lingwood also claimed Favourbrook is more formal. What I mean are all the models with six buttons in various fabrics and patterns. There are so many I like! I shall look at the buff models, but if i understand you correctly, you limit these to weddings and mourning/morning coat wear?

I haven´t developed an inclination to double-breasted or to lapels. I intend to wear waistcoats with my jackets - I donßt have a suit. By the way, I see that Huntsman has RTW. I have been a loyal customer of New and Lingwood. Their salespersons indicated in fact promised waistcoats for autumn, but nothing appeared online. Although my N&L mentor dislikes silk and flowers, thatßs just what I imagine I would like.

If you like the burgundy (about this colour name - French bordeaux - I have a quarrel with the present Cordings corduroy trouser use of the term which I find does not match the photographed article) 6 button velvet, why not the burgundy with the extra cherry design in the first row?
Today I took the train in Germany - amazing how drab and sad these Germans who still suffer from self-destruction of the last war of their grandfathers and the lost culture dress and how rude they behave. I was forced to change my seat when someone near me with tobacco use aura sat. The smell of smoke in his or her clothing was too offensive. In Switzerland one can easily get the impression these victims are in the majority because now they are forced to get their nicotine outside on the street.
