Hello, the thing is that based on SE measurements I am L siza and based on IH UK site I am M size, so I don´t know I am confused. Both sites have told me that their mesurements are correct, but they are different in their charts, one size of difference pretty much, so I am confused.

best regards

I measure my medium to be 42.5in where the sleeves join the body.

Note the following:
1. There is a fair amount of taper from the chest (directly under the armpits) to the the stomach area so the actual chest measurement is not too important.

2. I tried on the S and M and both fit me well enough in the chest and shoulders. The big difference was sleeve length. The sleeves on the S ended well above my wrists (Japanese sleeves generally tend to be shorter than those on western shirts).

3. This shirt has narrow shoulders. It's great for me but those who spend lots of time in the gym may find it a bit constricting.

Drove up to LA last weekend and visited Self Edge. Talked to Tyler for awhile about their stock, and tried on 3 pairs of jeans while I was there: Flat Head SE05BSPs, Strike Golds (the slim cut), and the Iron Heart 301s in a size 31. The Iron Hearts were by far the standout on me - verified unsolicited by the random LA girl hanging out by the window. I have a credit coming my way too that will cover most of the cost - too bad I have to wait until December for a restock in my size. Totally cool experience, and I've got a new appreciation for Iron Heart's stuff now.

Iron Heart x Self Edge CPO Jacket

One of our hottest items this winter is a jacket we did with Iron Heart out of a black and gray heavy cotton fabric with a super lightweight inner lining. The jacket has a 2-way metal zipper that's anodized black with tan leather pulls.

The jacket fit is great for wearing anything from just a t-shirt underneath to layering underneath with multiple long sleeve shirts. We're excited for this piece because it's not only very versatile but very functional in terms of how warm and lightweight it is.

Only done in one run, there are no restocks on this item.

Specs:
100% Super Heavy Cotton Flannel
Triple Brushed Outer
Black Anodized Metal Zipper
Quilted Super Light Weight Nylon/Poly Lining
Rinsed Fabric (Will Not Shrink)
Two-Way Zipper with Tan Leather Pulls
Slash side pockets and patch breast pockets with double button fastening
Made in Japan

Available now at all three Self Edge stores and in the online store, check the product page in our online store for hi-res photos and measurements:

We have three very special jeans for you this week...

From Iron Heart we've got theX634sX Flannel Lined Jeans and the DC4001 model and from Strike Gold the SG1103EX heavyweight jean. Also in is Iron Heart's 2010 version of their Heavyweight Winter Flannel and a restock of the Melton Wool Overshirt.

The X634sX jean is a flannel lined water resistant jean. We've taken Iron Heart's flagship product, the 634s straight leg selvedge jean, and given it the cold weather treatment.
We took their 21oz indigo selvedge denim and lined the entire jean with a heavy weight triple brushed black/gray flannel, but we didn't stop there. The jean is then completely coated in paraffin for repelling water. The jean has to be rinsed twice at the factory after the coating process so the entire thing is extremely comfortable and there is no break-in period whatsoever.
The warmest and driest pair of jeans you'll ever own.

We initially made these with cyclists and motorcyclists in mind, but once news of these leaked we had an overwhelming response from customers wanting to use them during snow sports. Whether you're just outside in colder weather or actually tearing through roads on your motorcycle during the winter months, these will be the most versatile pair of jeans you'll ever own.

The new DC4001 jean is a straight leg jean (a slightly slimmed down top block 634s) that is a collaboration Iron Heart has done with one of our very close friends that owns a great store in Berlin by the name of DC4. Both IH and DC4 have done a great job on this jean and we're honored to be carrying it at all Self Edge stores.

Strike Gold comes through with a new 24oz unsanforized jean with a straight leg fit with a great cut for all body types with a medium rise and a classic fit. This jean is made of a heavy weight denim with a gold spark selvedge id that comes completely loomstate so it's sure to age really well with a high-contrast fade. The jean has a burly feel to it at first due to the rigid denim that comes in it's loomstate form, after a warm water soak the denim opens up a bit and begins to soften with wear.

All three of these jeans and the Iron Heart shirts are available now and are made in limited numbers not to be restocked. Check our online store for specification lists, hi-res photos, and measurements.

I've been told that it's 34 oz. 21 for the denim, 13 for the flannel.

New Iron Heart Jeans & Shirts - The Devil's Fit & The Beatle Buster We've got two new jeans from Iron Heart, both are completely new fits and one comes in new denim developed just for the jean. Along with these two jeans we've received two new long sleeve shirts, both slightly lighter in weight than Iron Heart's Super Heavy flannels. The Devil's Fit jean comes in a new fabric which is an unsanforized 18oz denim that looks and feels great from the start and is sure to age well due to it's loomstate nature. The Beatle Buster uses Iron Heart's flagship 21oz sanforized denim in a completely new fit and even has a hidden knife pocket in the left front pocket-bag. The two new jean models, two new shirts, and a full restock of all jeans and belts are available now at all three Self Edge stores and in our online store. got a pair of size 36 beatle busters recently at se ny and have questions about fit. I think the jeans look really good and are fine for walking around if maybe a little tight. When I sit down though they feel tight in the things. As in there is no room in the upper thigh. I have worn them maybe 2-3 days since sunday and they have stretched a little. They look good, but as a pair of jeans I expect to live in for years I need to feel comfortable in them. Any idea how much they will stretch total in the thigh. I am wondering whether to cut my loses and sell while they still are pretty new and not broken in or still it out and give them a chance. I love the IH denim and want something slim, but really don't want something that will restrict leg movement.
