Recommendation for find detergents

What are your guys opinion on this?  Unfortunately, I don't have the financial resources to dry clean every single shirts I have....  What are the things that people should be aware of when choosing detergents?  Thanks!

Three things I look for in a quality detergent

-Organic (hormone free)
-Unsalted
-Low fat

Wow, I never know that detergent could have hormone inside..  Why the salted and fatty is bad for clothes?  Thanks!

I laughed out loud at this. It is things like this that I miss when I can't log-on for a few months at a time.
