I own Momotaro, Dior, SLP, JE, APC, Big John (0). AMA (10).

Honestly the fit 0 is lokey where it's at
Shame they don't make more.. I prefer them over the slp at points they are super comfy.. slp can feel heavy

I think people were wearing APC or Acne too. Hedi himself wore APC.

2. Stay away from April77. I tried it (the waxed black jeans) and the cut is very weird. Thighs felt baggy but legs felt skinny, and the whole block/seat whatever it's called absolutely didn't fit well. Proportions just seemed very "off." Friends in Paris and elsewhere noted that April77 is considered a bit shit.

Edit: Also, I don't know that I'd call Rag & Bone "lower end" for denim. They started out as denim specialists. SLP to my knowledge was never exclusively or heavily about denim. I'm willing to bet that SLP jeans won't hold a candle to Momotaro or other brands that denim fans go crazy over. Not saying R&B and Momotaro are on the same level, but I'd comfortably pick R&B over SLP--I just wish they'd bring out a waxed version of the black Fit 0 jeans.

Personally think fit 1 is spot on to d02 from my experience but that's just me

Also not calling them lower end, just less expensive than SLP and a great fit

Falcon put up their website a few days ago, the model is wearing Rag & Bone Fit 1.

I'd say Fit 1 is definitely roomier in the thighs and very tapered compared to SLP denim which seems quite straight. Fit 0 is skinnier.

Damn, after reading, I guess I've been sizing wrong. I measure a 31 TTS, and I decided to get a 31 for the standard raw blacks (AW15). They're a little loose but they still look fine.

If I want to get to get the light blue vintage ones, I should probably size down to a 30, right?

A 1:1 thigh to leg ratio gives a more elegant elongated look. When the taper is that obvious it gives a similar effect as tucking in jeans into low boots. This looks more casual and rugged and could work well with chunkier boots.

Kind of looks like a skinnier version of Squall's pants

Is that SLP belt or copy? I want to buy it i can't find SLP one

Just wait and it will be re-stocked next season. Copies will not be as nice.

On jeans, I keep meaning to get around to trying the Acne thin. Saint Laurent jeans just aren't skinny enough for me anymore since AW 13, especially at the knee area. Looking at the measurements for the Acne thin on the website, they are very close to the AW 13 raw D02s so could be promising. I might grab some this week. Anyone that has experience with them - would you size the same as Saint Laurent AW 13 D02s (ie one size up from current Saint Laurent raw D02s / MWs)?

I'm so sad cuz all these brands like rag and bone and acne have nice ass jeans but then i'm trying to look for a brand that has decent jeans and make size 26-27 too.....

I actually have 2 pairs of dior homme that I've bought and tried on like once and then i didn't like them anymore........gonna sell them eventually

dior homme jeans are just not that great compared to slp

Yeah, DH while nice quality, aren't the fit I'm looking for anymore - not skinny enough. Have you considered Acne womenswear? I saw a member of staff at one of the London stores in a pair and they looked fantastic. They're very skinny though, but there's a few different cuts so perhaps if you could get to a store to try some of the styles then something could work for you.

On the 3 passant, yeah it's usually re-stocked every season, but the online store tends to get pretty low quantities in 85 so they go almost instantly. LVR has had large quantities the last few seasons, but they also go within a month or so. I think I'll probably get another one myself too. The grain de poudre version is also nice for what it's worth.
