Everybody seems to recommend april77 and I'm planning to cop one of their basic washes soon in either the joey or dictator cut. Acne ace/thins are also a good choice. I have ace cash and they fit great.

I'm actually thinking about Dr. Denim Snap.... but I'm not sure yet

btw I've had a lot of experience already with April 77 because that's what I used to wear a lot

joey is a lot tighter than slp 15cms and dictator is a pretty shit fit imo

Since you have some experience with it... If I'm a 28 in slp d02 fw15-ss16 then should I get a 29 in joey? Slp was nearly skin tight on me as seen in pic. Waist was barely loose

what is your true size in slp? if you say 28 in fw15-ss16 so I assume your true size is 29?

well I've tried sizing down 1 and 2 on joeys but know that i'm really skinny and I have no ass

sizing down 1 - skin tight from thigh to ankle, waist isn't tight at all

sizing down 2 - even more tight from thigh to ankle, waist is tight

know that joey's is like pretty damn stretchy most of the time. I like to size down 2 but tbh they are like jeggings tight if you do that. joeys are definitely gonna be tighter than the jeans you're wearing in your pic

Ah shit... I hope they aren't like blkdnm jeans that felt like jegging material. Yeah I'm a true 29.

I updated my post with a pic to show how the d02 fit on me. Those were Size 28 I believe.

Damn, okay. I guess I'd either go tts or down 1. Does the material feel like denim at all since it has so much stretch?

1. Rag & Bone Fit 0 is far better IMO than Fit 1. It's definitely skinnier than SLP D02 but not idiotically so. And it stretches a little bit after a while. YMMV but it's my favorite pair--well I have several actually.

2. Stay away from April77. I tried it (the waxed black jeans) and the cut is very weird. Thighs felt baggy but legs felt skinny, and the whole block/seat whatever it's called absolutely didn't fit well. Proportions just seemed very "off." Friends in Paris and elsewhere noted that April77 is considered a bit shit.

Edit: Also, I don't know that I'd call Rag & Bone "lower end" for denim. They started out as denim specialists. SLP to my knowledge was never exclusively or heavily about denim. I'm willing to bet that SLP jeans won't hold a candle to Momotaro or other brands that denim fans go crazy over. Not saying R&B and Momotaro are on the same level, but I'd comfortably pick R&B over SLP--I just wish they'd bring out a waxed version of the black Fit 0 jeans.

my true size is 28 and i try to size down 1 on all jeans which is 27 :(

not a lot of brands have sizes smaller than 28

feel like i might just end up getting dr. denim cuz i think only high end brands do sizes smaller than 28

and i don't want stiff ass raw denims like apc or nudie.......

Anyone in EU know of any 3 passant belts in classic leather size 85 floating around? Having trouble finding one in US.

Question about the D02s: I have a pair of black raws (98% cotton / 2% polyurethane) in 31. I want to get a pair of the washed ones in 100% cotton (this one). Should I size the same? Do the 100% cotton ones stretch over time?

Thanks!

all jeans stretch out and 100% cotton tend to stretch out more than the ones that has PU or EA

it also depends on how tight you wear them too but overall i would just say take the same size
