To me they're on the same level of wearability as black leather boots, very elegant/upscale looking, especially for evening. It's amazing how well it reads visually (especially with pants covering the buckle). I always get complimented on them being more true classy than casual classy. I also think the casual-classy is bc of the sole on the SLP boots. Even the bottega have the crepe bottom which looks exactly like a suede eraser cleaner after 2 minutes of wear.

Which outlet is this? Woodbury?

was looking for the SS16 knee patch in 26.

They did not order any size 26 in US for knee patch denim. I was able to grab a 26 from Ln-cc.com couple weeks ago so you may want to check there to see if any left.

That's very rock n' roll if you can pull off 26 in the knee patch denim. IIRC it's fairly unforgiving.

FW13 Raw Denim MIJ worn for a year developed crotch blow out that eventually ripped down the middle.

Threw em in the closet and forgot about them until about a week ago when I decided to wash them and see if I can take them in for surgery.

Dear Jesus how on earth does this happen with a mere one year of wear? Either they're absolute crap jeans or you work in construction wearing Saint Laurent Paris.

@OakGhost recommend the polka dot full sleeve? How's the fabric on it? I think the knee rips are out for me so can pick up another shirt

Haha.. The jeans are great, I just usually wear them skating. The hole slowly grew bigger until it was about the size of a golf ball and while out skating with some friends I  ended up kicking my legs out and the small hole became a big tear and i ended up just tearing them apart.

Does anyone have photos or is selling a pair of what I believe to be 2014 Hedi Chelsea 30's in the lighter tan suede? Some research has shown a color called dust, but it seems in photos to be similar to a timberland color, or something closer to tan rather than the newer version which is cigaro like the jodhpurs, or so I'm told.

Which outlet is that?

- edit: guess its China based on your previous post history/

Went to Sloane Street boutique today and ...... got the L17 :DDD very happy, can't wait for weather to warm up.

In the end I actually got the 48 instead of the 50 I posted pictures of. The difference in the shoulders and sleeve length were minimal but everywhere else it just looked much more fitted. I was surprised actually that I'd get into it and it not look ridiculous.

Yeah as much as I want to rock sequinned sleeves palm tree bombers I'll have to give it a miss but investment wise the L17 is wiser haha.

Incidentally my L01 I also had to 'size up' .... it  is size 50 because in the 48 the arms openings were too tight against upper arms and visibly cropped higher at the sleeve end - and this was me trying on the red L01 from the store room that was already buttery soft/broken in through numerous customer wears I imagine.

Mate... absolutely 1000000000% get the SLP jodhpur boots, this year I think the darker tan colour is even nicer than the lighter one from last year. Since you have the budget for the SLP boots definitely choose them over SeF. SeF look great for the price point but there are very very subtle differences in the last/design and from what you've written it sounds like you've noticed that yourself and are getting put off the SLP ones.

I remember watching a youtube vid of a guy reviewing the destroyed FW15/SS16 jeans and he had paired it with SeF jodhpurs and all through the video (great review, no hate) of him walking with it I remember thinking that somehow the boots he wore the jeans with looked 'off'... and it was because they were the SeF ones that don't look as sleek as SLP.

Basically take the plunge with the SLP jodhpurs, paired with fitted jeans and you will not regret it:

edit: here's the youtube link with the SeF boots: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mKL3VUwkte0

aaand the guy did a review for SeF :) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_aPdr4SRsxk

Yeah, the SLP jodhpurs are awesome, no regrets whatsoever.
