Hey Guys,

I've been having some issues finding the right shoe trees for my SL Chelsea 30's and Jodhpur 30's but am having issues finding the right shoe tree to fill out the top area just behind the shoe cap where creases show after use.

The stuffing shoes comes with (tissue paper) does a better job at filling out the boot, perhaps due to the simple fact that most shoe trees are designed for a specific shoe (usually by 1-2 manufacturers) and the SL boots we all love aren't those.

For those of you with the Chelsea and Jodhpur 30's, which shoe trees do you use, and or what other method do you use to fill out the toe/top of foot area to minimize creasing when not wearing the boots?

Thanks in advance, I appreciate it.

i just use the tissue also.

suppose could go to a cobbler and ask him to grind some polystyrene (or something similar) down...

or make a mould of the tissue...then fill the mould with foam?

all a bit of a pain really.

No issues after a few months, with the tissue?

It seems like the best idea as you can really pack it in there, and to be honest, its not that much of a pain pulling it out. I was just concerned about it not filling out the entire shoe cap and thus leaving creases after 6-8 months or so.

i've got 5 pairs of 2013 boots...use / used tissues on them all since getting them and no creases in any of them at all.

Thanks, mine are from 2014-2015 so it's great to know they'll be fine down the line.

I use these guys in almost all of my boots:

I use size large in my size 42/42.5 wyatt boots, it fills the toe perfectly. They are a tight fit for my size but the size medium tree is a bit to small to fill the toe.

Does anyone know if it's possible to buy some of the different laces for the surf sound sneakers?

I was hoping someone had success with those in particular. I just ordered them, thanks for your help.

tissue does not have the absorption abilities and scent that cedar does, which is half the point of a shoe tree

Does anyone have any photos or perhaps can provide a review on this pair of jeans? I can't find a pair right now since I am in Canada for work, but am contemplating ordering them online. I'm wondering how they feel after a few wears, if there is any good/back feedback on the finish. I've always had regular raw black so this is interesting to me. The wrinkling is also a concern as I wonder if they will gain or lose wrinkles/creases.

in for this answers too, because i have a pair of straight black jeans, not raw but really nice. so it would also be nice to have 2 different black jeans to go with specific clothing style.

Those don't help as much, most important for LC are

1) Close up of hardware i.e. button

2) Close up of leather tag + chain

3) Close up of care tag
