Anyone pre-order the tan chelsea boots off ysl.com and get a shipped notification yet?
Preordered them on 12/29 and still nothing. Pretty annoyed since the website said "Guaranteed before 1/31" smh

Argghh.. SS16 Studded Camo Lace Low Tops.. I think I've worn these about 3 times and the soles are already falling apart and ungluing.

I don't like that sole compared to the normal SL01 sneakers

yo scanner if you got those at sl just take them back. i've done it a few times with new stuff that's had quality issues, they're usually really good about replacing.

Agreed, the SL01 sole's are great and last a long time. I can't exactly blame SLP for this as the shoes are made in a factory in Spain. This same issue happens with a lot of sneakers Made in Spain, for example Boris Bidjan Saberi's sneakers literally crumble while you're walking. Still, pretty silly for $600 Sneakers to fall apart in under a week of wear vs my $60 Vans that I use all day for a year and still hold up.

I know what you totally mean! I used to say I would only wear boots with a strong visible welt like Wyatts or any of the 30mm boots. Over time, I started getting curious about that London 20 last and wanted a cropped Chelsea boot for the summer but wasn't ready to buy a pair of London 20 cropped jodhpurs since I wasn't used to the shape. Instead I bought a pair of beater test pair Chelsea boots from topman and I think this sleeker style looks great. The last seems like they copied the London 20 one and is good to test the waters with.

Kieran is absolutely right, the jeans has to be skinny and cropped up to have proper balance with the boot.

Looks like SS 13 as fabric code is the same as the one used on the classic black D02 from that season (code for which was 315401 YU059 1000).

Both ssense and ysl state cigar but.. The heel, the tab, the buckle are clearly look different..

I'm trying to order off ssense to avoid the tax on ysl site.. I like the ysl color Better.. But I know ysl never updates their site pics..

Soo I'm confused lol

@thornsas much as I hate topman, that design looks pretty nice. Works well most likely for a beater. I almost don't want to wear my Blake 30s much because I know I won't really ever be able to find a pair again haha. Don't wanna wear the sole out quicker than I need to. Its the main reason I'd buy a second jodhpur (london 20) as a beater wink.gif if only I had $ to blow, but I'm unfortunately only 19.
